This interconnected system of computer networks serves billions of users worldwide, proving we do truly live in a globalized world. The Internet is basically a network of networks, which includes public, business, academic, private, and government networks. These networks that comprise the Internet can be on local or global scope and are interconnected by a massive array of optical networking, wireless, and electronic technologies.
