Like many of you out there, I've been hitting the gym a little harder recently in the run up to summer time.
All the lovely weather recently has brought out the summer lover in me, and I want to tone up to be extra fabulous in all my summer clothes.
So I've been doing my usual workout a little more often in the week, and have taken up a pilates class one evening a week.

Pilates has been great, although I pushed myself a bit too much in the first session and felt like I needed stairlifts to take me up and down stairs the next day, but since then I've really felt a difference.
I've found once I get on a healthier exercise kick, it gets me automatically on a healthier eating kick too. What's the point in working out for an hour and then eating a massive bar of chocolate?
Believe me, I'm hardly the health freak, but I've definitely noticed a change in my lifestyle already. Thanks freakish early summer weather!

Summer is here and the colour is blue!
From ladies clothes to shoes everything should be kept cool with blue!
What is great about this trend is there are so many types of blue. From turquoise to teal to midnight blue, you can have it for every occasion.
At yesterdays Royal Wedding many of the guest turned up in ‘royal’ blue and the catwalk recently has been awash with the colour!
My favourite blue dress so far is this one:

From Asos it is £35 and perfect for the daytime with sandals and can be dressed up for the evening with a nice pair of heals and a long necklace. Lovely!

Ok, I know that I shouldn’t but just look at it. It’s gorgeous isn’t it, and it’s not like I couldn’t afford it. I just couldn’t afford it at this moment in time. But at the end of the month, I could have. But if I left it until then I wouldn’t have been able to get the one that I wanted because it was out of stock and I really really really needed it now. So, I did a potentially bad thing, but what they hey. I got a same day loans which I can pay back at the end of the month. So yes, I’m a little in debt now but nothing too serious. But, totally worth it! ?

Sexiness can for me be just about a good soft piece of sheer fabric, floral and pastal designs reminiscent of the 50’s and naughty ties binding you in.......
Which is why my new obsession is Ciel. An online boutique in collaboration with Liberty, with something for the girls that the guys will still love.

The answer, my trend setting friends will assure me is to go long. Very long, if it’s not knee length it’s just half-hearted and nobody wants to be the princess at the ball without the tiara if you know what I’m saying.
So here are my golden tips for your winter coat shop.
Be knee length. Not only is this economical with your bodies central heating but it looks cool, rocking with the futuristic blade-runner-esque style assassin look.
Don’t be afraid with colour. If you want to stand out with your style then use colour. Everyone else is going to be wearing dog tooth and autumnal shades, why do you want to follow the crowd?
A pastal orange or even a seasonal bottle green works!
Good luck on your coat hunt girls, check out ASOS, My Wardrobe and the old staple TopShop for a good selection.
